Haikou Volcanic Cluster Global Geopark

The Ma An volcano nature park is a natural geological museum with many extinct volcanoes. The highest (222.8 meters above sea level) and most famous of them is the volcano Ma An, in which you can even descend! Volcano has died out on various data from 70 to 200 thousand years ago, but still its crater, overgrown with tropical greenery, attracts many tourists.

Although the park is fully equipped for tourists, and has a museum on its territory, it looks very authentic and managed to preserve the atmosphere of tropical jungles. All the steps, benches made of lava and other magmatic rocks, railings covered with real lianas, here you can see traces of volcanic eruptions such as basalt and lava flows, just walking along the paths.
