Sanya Phoenix International Airport

Phoenix International Airport (IATA: SYX; ICAO: ZJSY) is located in Tienya District, Sanya City, Hainan Province, about 11 kilometres east of Sanya city centre. It is a Class 4 international civil aviation airport and a major domestic transit airport in China. The current terminal area of Phoenix Airport is 85,000 square metres, including a 42,000 square metre domestic terminal T1, a 20,000 square metre terminal T2, a 20,000 square metre international terminal T3 and a 13,000 square metre VIP terminal. The airport has 18 boarding bridges. The runway is 3,400 metres long and 60 metres wide (including shoulders) with the main landing direction from west to east. It can take full takeoff and landing of large aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and Airbus 340. The parking lot safely accommodates 48 medium and large aircraft.
