Binglanggu Village of Ethnic Groups is a unique open-air ethnographic park that immerses visitors in the distinctive culture and daily life of the island's indigenous peoples — the Li and Miao. The park has been recreated with maximum authenticity, based on their traditional way of life.
"Betel Nut Valley" (as Binglanggu translates) is not just a tourist attraction, but the main venue for traditional celebrations such as the "Sanyuesan Festival" and the "Water Fun Festival." For its rich cultural heritage, the park is rightly called a "living fossil" of Hainan.
