Boating Sanya 2024

From 6 to 8 December, an international boat show called Boating Sanya 2024 was held in Sanya on Hainan Island.

The show was held at the Sanya International Yacht Centre with an impressive scale of 142,100 square metres (13,000 square metres on land and 129,100 square metres on water).

The largest dealers of the country gathered on the territory of the centre to present new and popular models of yachts and boats, companies accompanying the yachting business: loading, insurance and others; companies presenting all kinds of equipment for diving, water sports, and even underwater photography; as well as companies offering premium segment goods: watches, cigars, wine.

Visitors, boat enthusiasts, all those involved in the water tourism business and representatives of international companies had a unique chance not only to look at new products and new eco-solutions, but also to try many types of transport in their natural environment - at the sea berth. Here you could ride the waves in a super-car and even visit the inside of a bathyscaphe submarine.

Sanya has been ranked as the best yacht tourism city and yacht development city in China for several consecutive years.

The scale of the yacht industry has been climbing year by year, and by the end of 2023, the net increase of yachts in the city's jurisdiction reached 1367, accounting for 85% of the province's total, entering the list of "thousand yacht" cities in China. 161100 yachts set sail, a year-on-year increase of 67.22%, and received 1.079 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 82.84%.

Several professional forums and discussions were held during the exhibition. They raised such important issues as the overseas entry of Chinese yachting brands, trends in the development of eco-friendly energy yachts, and the development of the yachting industry as a luxury lifestyle.

This exhibition is already becoming an annual tradition and a big event in the world of yachts. After all, interest in Chinese brands is now steadily growing, as confirmed by the number of foreign visitors and exhibitors.
